TIF ASIA TOUR: Spreading the Idol Culture Beyond Borders
The exclusive online event TIF ASIA TOUR KICK OFF is happening!
On September 3rd, log in onto this online live performance featuring idols from all over Asia!
The world’s biggest idol festival TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL (hereafter, TIF), organized by TOKYO IDOL PROJECT, is expanding further on their mission to spread the Japanese Idol culture throughout Asia through this new project, TIF ASIA TOUR. The project aims at starting from 2022.
To kickstart such projects, TIF ASIA TOUR KICK OFF will introduce idol groups from all over Asia along with local guests, in an online event on September 3rd.
You will be able to discover more about the idol scene in other Asian countries in this exclusive performance, skyrocketing this brand new project aiming at spreading the culture all over the continent from 2022!
As of now, several guest groups for TIF ASIA TOUR KICK OFF have been announced: from the foreign branches of 48Group, JKT48 (Jakarta, Indonesia), BNK48 (Bangkok, Thailand), MNL48 (Manila, Philippines), AKB48 Team SH (Shanghai, China), AKB48 Team TP (Taipei, Taiwan), and CGM48 (Chiangmai, Thailand) will be performing.
Amongst Japanese guests, Dempagumi.inc, Niji no Conquistador and Wasuta will be joining the event.
A VTtuber and Virtual Idols segment will also take place, with guests such as enogu, Ginga Alice, GEMS COMPANY and MaRiNaSu.
Finally, local idol groups from all over Asia also have been announced! Tsukiyoi◇Crescente (Taipei, Taiwan), Siam☆Dream (Bangkok, Thailand), SUMOMO (Bangkok, Thailand), Niji Universe Inc. (Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam) and OSIDORI (Hong Kong) will also let you discover the wonders of their take on idol culture.
